Prairie Hawks Give Back in a Big Way!!
On Friday, February 6th, Prairie High School Student Council officers and representatives, alongside Prairie Elementary School Ambassadors, proudly presented the HACAP Food Reservoir with a check for over $8,000 in donations.
These funds were raised through a month-long elementary school challenge, Battle of the Buckets, where students worked hard collecting coins for a great cause. Elementary students—supported by Prairie High School Student Council representatives—created goal posters, collected donations, and even helped count every last coin!
A huge thank-you goes to Toyota, who helped fuel this effort by over-matching the coins collected by each individual elementary school. Together, Prairie Student Council, Prairie Elementary buildings, and Toyota combined their efforts to donate more than $8,000, helping provide approximately 40,700 meals to our community.
What an incredible example of teamwork, leadership, and generosity.
Way to go, Prairie Hawks!
